Curriculum Vitae
Liz trained at the University of Cambridge, gaining a First Class Honours degree and Diploma in Architecture with Commendation.
Following graduation Liz joined Allies and Morrison where she worked on the Stirling Prize nominated Royal Festival Hall project and the UK Research and Development Headquarters for the Swedish mobile phone company Ericsson.
Liz also worked for John Proctor Associates in Papua New Guinea, then returned to the UK to join 5th Studio where she took on Project Architect and Associate roles for a variety of public and institutional projects for St Catharine’s College, Cambridge, the Social Enterprise Charity Future Business and for the London Borough of Waltham Forest.
In addition to a selection of domestic projects in Cambridgeshire and East Sussex, as a self-employed architect Liz has also been commissioned to administer a special design review panel on behalf of Cambridge City Council. She maintains close links with the University of Cambridge and was previously a Director of Studies in Architecture for both Girton and Trinity Hall colleges.
Liz gained acreditation as a Certified Passivhaus Designer with the Passive House Institute in 2022, and is now employed with Liv Architects Ltd. She continues to accept new commissions on behalf of Liv.
