Coton Road

The project sought to create a more generous kitchen/dining space for shared cooking and dining activities, while celebrating the reciprocity that existing between the south facing living spaces of the house and their garden setting. Large fixed glass panes and wide-hinged doors allow very direct visual and physical connections between the kitchen, dining room, sitting room and the garden. A new zinc clad lantern drops natural daylight into the depth of the extended kitchen.
